Welcome to my astronomy website! Located in the scenic south of County Meath, Ireland, my homebuilt observatory is where I explore the wonders of the night sky. As an amateur astronomy enthusiast, I am dedicated to capturing and sharing the beauty of the cosmos.

On this website, you'll find a collection of images taken from my observatory, including lunar landscapes, solar views, solar system objects, and deep sky phenomena. Each photo represents my passion for astronomy and my ongoing journey to uncover the secrets of the universe.

From my early fascination with a simple tabletop refractor to building a custom observatory, my journey has been one of continuous learning and discovery. My setup includes a Meade LX200 Schmidt Cassegrain telescope and various CCD cameras, including Starlight Xpress HX516, MX7C and SXV-H9, which help me capture detailed images of celestial objects.
